Lion Canyon II

New! This short board is ideal for freestyle riders designed originally for junior riders, it has now become a favourite with freestylers of all ages. The Lion Canyon is a lightweight board with small wheels this allows for big airs and speedy rotations.

Diamond tread tyres give superb grip and the deck surface features rubber grip tape to help prevent feet slipping in wet conditions.

Furnace Creek II

Deimos

The Deimos is the replacement for the Lion Canyon. The deck remains the same as does the truck and wheel system. However the bindings have changed to the new Velcro binding system which is much more secure and won’t fold or change position when doing foot-outs. The Deimos is the entry level board in the Scrub range and is perfect for ripping it up on dirt tracks or freestyling with a kite. The board is the lightest in the Scrub range and its short length makes it extremely maneuverable. Board weight is 5.5kg

Nebula

The Nebula replaces the Lion Canyon Pro. This board features a 90cm maple deck with hollow axle skate trucks and lightweight 5-spoke rims. Tyres are 2-ply lightweight tyres and the board is equipped with a grab handle and the new Scrub Velcro binding system. All hardware is stainless steel or alloy- there’s nothing to rust. The Nebula is the entry level freestyle kite board of the range. Its short wheelbase and light wheel/truck combo is perfect for low-level aerial moves and rotations, while the grab handle allows board-offs and passes. The new binding system is much more adjustable than previously and allows more toeside pressure for better control. Board weight is 5.6kg.

Quasar

The Quasar is a new board for 2006 and is intended as an entry level dirtboard. A 99cm maple/grp deck used last year on the Silver Reef is matched to a steel channel truck with two spring positions. 8” Diamond tread tyres sit on the Scrub 5-spoke lightweight rim and the new twin bolt Velcro binding system ensures a secure fit. The board has rubber grip tape as usual and all hardware including the kingpins are stainless- the only carbon steel on this board is the truck itself which is power coated. Board weight is 7.7kg

Ejector

The Ejector replaces the Silver Reef but has so many differences that it’s really a completely new board. The highlight of this board is the deck- a 7mm thick highly flexible and durable wood/composite deck which is light and has outstanding performance. Our kite test team have been using this board for several months and all reports are fantastic- heavy landings from 20’ airs have not been a problem! The new deck is matched to the Scrub hollow axle skate truck and 8” lightweight tyre/rim combo. The Ejector uses the Scrub 2006 Velcro binding and as with all boards the hardware is entirely stainless steel. The board is shorter than previously at 92cm and weighs in at only 6.4kg including a grab handle and the bindings.

Regolith

The Regolith is the top of the range board in the standard range. Intended as a performance downhill board or high speed kite board, the Regolith uses the same lightweight deck as the Ejector with the same hardware except it has the Scrub alloy channel truck with 3 spring positions. This truck is extremely strong yet light- certainly as light as other leading channel-type truck systems currently available. Slightly shorter than last year’s model, the board is very easy to control at any speed and the 3 spring positions allow preloading of heelside for kite use.

Pro-Series

The Pro-Series Scrub range has been developed with the Scrub downhill and kite team riders to provide the best performance and value possible. The two decks have been individually designed and have a unique lay-up of composites over wood and foam which keeps the weight to a minimum and the strength high. The deck width is a little wider than other similar decks and both boards are built using Scrub specific moulds to our specifications.

Pro Series 90cm.
The 90cm freestyle board uses cutting edge design to provide high performance and great looks. Silver composite layers stand out from the crowd and the board comes with a Scrub sticker pack so you can choose where to put your graphics for best effect. Supplied with new Scrub ratchet bindings, hollow axle superlight skate trucks, and a grab handle this board is all you’ll ever need. Check out the detail- larger bearings in the rims for better performance and side-loading capability, Scrub special design s-tread tyres, full stainless steel hardware kit, reinforced truck baseplates, and full tool kit. Board weight (with ratchet straps and grab handle) 5.8kg.

Scrub Pro-Series 102cm
This longer deck is squarely aimed at hardcore freeriding and the board components are designed to take the strain long term. The silver composite deck is complemented by new cast alloy top adjustable channel trucks and the new Scrub 2 ply lightweight s-pattern tyre. Ratchet bindings are fitted as standard although under the rubber grip are inserts for snowboard bindings should you prefer to ride them. While a grab handle is not supplied with this board, the inserts are provided. The long deck provides exceptional stability yet remains stiff, and the new channel truck design offers sharper turning than previous versions which makes the deck feel a lot shorter than it actually is!
