Paracontrol GbR was founded in 1997 by managing
directors, Michael Schweiger and Achim Schiszler to design, sell
and service paragliders and associated products.
In 1998 they decided to expand the business and began the design and development of a high performance traction kite that would prove to be truly outstanding in every way: The balance of Power, Speed and Stability together with paraglider build quality have set new standards that are unsurpassed. |

This was the standard answer when asking for a beginner kite.....until
now.
PKD set to work on the problem to develop a kite with exactly these characteristics. Drawing on their expertise in paraglider technology they reduced the aspect ratio, increased the profile depth, incorporated their well proven V-rib technology to minimise the number of bridle line attachment points and fine tuned the result to achieve the perfect solution.....the Joy. The material selection and build quality are to the same high standards of all PKD kites. The Joy can be purchased as "kite only" with stuff bag, or complete with flying lines, handles and a high quaility back pack. 25 m flying lines are recommended for all sizes. |

The fully skin shaped design gives outstanding performance with
stable and easy control: Ideal for beginners through to the really
power hungry.
By selecting high quality materials and ensuring close attention

of performance and quality at a price that makes the Buster unbeatable! All Busters come “ready to fly” complete with lines and handles, but for those that want that little bit extra, they also have bridle trim adjusters for quick and easy fine tuning. |
