ARC
Arcs are a new form of traction kite developed for both kite surfing and buggying and other power kiting activities.

Air entry is by several soft fabric non return valves along the leading edge. These prevent air escaping and resist water entry even when partially immersed. There are no internal bladders to inflate. When floating on the water the Arc has considerable volume (much greater than for a single skin inflated tube kites). This will cause them to drift downwind faster than a floating person and keeps the lines under tension - a must for relaunching in deep water.

The Arc functions without a bridle making water relaunching trouble free. Power-up or De-power is by control of angle of attack of the complete foil, a much more efficient method than brake line control as in traditional foils.

F-ARC

The Arc is a 'closed foil' type of kite. The construction of CHIKARA rip-stop nylon is virtually airtight. Air pressure in the kite is built up by the wind that can enter through the valves along the front of the kite. These soft fabric non-return valves prevent air from escaping after a crash in the water. The kite remains under pressure while floating on the water and is almost impossible for any water to enter the kite.

The Arc's patented design is one of the smoothest possible shape today. The closed foil results in a more efficient profile and a smoother shape across the whole kite. The large advantage of a kite without bridles is that the bridle drag is completely eliminated and there is no distortion of the wing at each bridle point. This results in a cleaner and more efficient shape.

This kite has a very high aspect ratio, which makes it a top end kite. The depowering range is much greater than that of the normal 'Arc' and the lift this kite produces is enormous.

This kite is not for beginners, as it flies very fast and very responsive. The lift it produces can be very dangerous for people who are not very experienced with the sport.

HI-ARC

The Hi Arc is specially designed for the advanced buggy/mountainboard rider. Whilst riding the buggy, the pilot will notice great differences in the smooth and comfortable feel. The Hi Arc has no bridles, which means no bridle drag making it very fast and without tangles!

When flown on four lines and we advise you to use a bar. Usually buggy pilots use four line handles but for the Hi-Arc a bar works better. The advantage of using a bar is that the rider can get better control of the whole kite, even using only one hand.

Using a bar with a length of 50cm, the kite steers fast and light and because this bar is not very bulky it works fine with a buggy.

The Hi Arc has great upwind performance which allows the buggy rider to get back fast and easy. The kite has a very 'light' feel because the kite does not have so much sideforce. This makes the ride faster and a lot more comfortable. The Hi-Arc is also luff resistent and does not collapse when flying too far over the rider's head; instead it slowly falls back into the window.

The Hi Arc also has a de-power system, just like the Arcs for kitesurfing. This means the angle of attack of the complete foil can be changed so the kite gives less or more power. In gusty winds the power can be easily controlled which gives the buggy rider a smooth and fast ride. The Hi-Arc works best with line of 25 to 30 metrest.

Water Foil

The world of foil type power kites has changed dramatically due to the recent demands for kite surfing. Peter Lynn has come up with an amazingly new method of kitebuilding. Made exclusively for use on the water this design can almost double the lift against it's leading competitors and with it's 'permanent inflation airvalves' - water relaunchability is more reliable than any other type of foil.

The easiest and quickest way to get started with kitesurfing. The most reliable source of kite power that a limited budget can afford. The waterfoil has an enormous pull per size and its stability is unrivalled. Waterfoils are developed exclusively for use on the water; the CHIKARA nylon construction has fully taped seams to minimise air leakage. A fully inflated waterfoil can be floating on the surface of the sea for 15minutes or more and still be reliably re-launched.
